Turtle Doves had chicks. They are just about ready to fly off. The nest was on a beam. In the grapevine.

Our village was a stop for a classic car ralley this morning.

 

Our neighbours have owls nesting in their yard. These are the people from Nature Conservancy checking them out.

Holland really takes recycling seriously. Received this envelope with info on solar panels. The see-through plastic window can be torn off easily for recycling, as per suggestion above the panel. Loving it.

 

The female mallard has been sitting on eggs for at least 2 weeks now. Hope she will bring her babies to the billabong.
