This morning I paddled into the bay and found this abandoned boat. Mint condition. No anchor. Sitting on the bottom. Thought that it had most likely been stolen. Lots of that going around. Beautiful boat.

Went back with Roo, who secured the boat with an anchor. We called a friend, who called the police and found the very happy owner on line.

Police arrive, made good time. Only waited about an hour.

Owners arrive from Hope Town. They couldn't believe their luck. Found within 12 hours! Owner is the guy in the white shirt.

The recovered boat being towed home to Elbow Cay by the owners and the police boat going back to Marsh Harbour.

Reward! Lunch at the Crazy Buffet in West Palm!

The first of the tadpoles are leaving. This one no bigger than a a quarter. The water hyacinth blooms just one day.

This glass container hangs by the front door and is always full of frogs. Not this morning!
